Dolphin & Whale Searching - Daily

80 species of cetaceans can be found in the seas and oceans of the world and until now 29 of them have been seen in the canaries.

When you think about it that's one third of the worlds population, and considering some species live exclusively in the polar regions, rivers and very limited areas, we find ourselves in a very privaleged area for observing these magnificent creatures.

The Spirit of the Sea moored in the harbour Puerto Base, in Puerto Rico, south-west Gran Canaria's. There are two different excursions; the "normal" 2 hours dolphin and whale watching trip and, 3 days a week (mo. wend. and fri) one extra hour afterwards for a swim stop in a bay before we sail back to the harbour.

Timetable = daily:

Mo. We. and Fr. 10.00 till 13.00 and 13.30 till 16.30

Tu. Thu. and Sa. 10.00 till 12.00 and 12.30 till 14.30 (sometimes aswell 15.00 till 17.00)

Prices from Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles and nearby (includes transport to Puerto Rico)

Adults 31 euros & Kids 12 & under 18.50 euros

Prices from Puerto Rico (without transport, just walk down to the harbour)

Adults 25 euros & Kids 12 & under 12.50 euros
