Hello,

I've read all of the other threads on finding work but most only seem to be looking for summer work. I've recently arrived home from PR and it confirmed that It's where I want to be.

Any ideas on permanent work? Open minded on the occupation, children is one of my strong points. I know the first thing to go for is bar/restaurant work but I don't want to be stuck without work throughout the winter months. I've been having a look on a few rep sites but again, summer work only. I'm working hard on kicking my Spanish into reasonable shape which is of course going to be a bonus and as I'm young I really don't want to feel isolated. I'm trying to get a lot of money behind me beforehand. I'm definately open to hard work as the nightlife isn't my reason for moving over!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

teaching or something in the schools is a good place to be for permanent work. A quualification such as TEFL seems to put people in good stead, either to teach english as a foreign language or for use in schools. Unless you were in a spanish school then spanish isn't completely necessary although a basic grasp helps.
