Hey!

i know that some of you guys work on the island, and i'd love to get into 6 weeks in the summer working on the island. does anyone have any ideas on what i could do, as i'm stuck.. let me know, if you have any ideas,
if it's any use (which i hope it is.) i speak spanish as i do english.

The best thing is to be on the island. Book a 2 week holiday - so at least you have some accomodation and your flights - then knock on doors and ask around.
Work could be working in bars or working in the hotels.
Look on www.tipsandinfo.com (http://www.tipsandinfo.com). Jobs are advertised there or you could leave an advert on there but people tend to give casual jobs to those who are here already rather than holding a job for someone

thanks, that sounds great... the only trouble is.. i'm only 17..... :banghead:

this rules out bar work... but does it rule out hotel work?? cos that's what i'd just love to do.

I suppose you could do chambermaid etc. Why dont you wait until next summer. you'll have more choices then
