VJ scene?

Hi... I'm VJ (Visual Jockey) from Poland. I'm going to go to Playa de las Americas for 2 months (since 26th Juny).
Is VJ scene there?
Does music clubs have their VJs?
and should I knock door to door to look for work in this proffesion??
