Looking for a computer shop?

Hi

Is there a computer shop on the island, I need dvd's cd's and cases. Carrefour do some but not a great range. In the uk there was PC world is there something similar?

There is a really good place for getting things like that in Vecindario! It is situated next to Carrefour in the centre.:thumb:

No big computer shops. Apparently there is a good one next to the garage in Arguineguin.
I either use the internet to order or the supermarkets

Media Markt in Siete Palmas has all the cases, dvd's cd's that you could possibly want, otherwise as Mary says, order from the internet

If you have an apple Imac computer there is Banana computers ( calle leon y castillo ) in Las Palma which is excellent .

took everyones advise drove all the way to media markt...good shop but being stupid picked up the wrong item and have now got to go all the way back tomorrow to take it back!!!!!:cry:

Oh dear. We bought something from Hipercor & had to take that back because it was faulty. Not so major if you have car but catching the bus.......Never mind it is another excuse to hit the shops that you missed!!:grin:

Well i must admit i can´t stand wandering round shops all day(i will leave that to you ladies) but i do have to admit that since the opening of media markt in Las Palmas it is by far the most superior in most ways.A great selection of Mobile phones,computers and loads of bargains!! It is a German owned chain of shops (half German just like myself viewers) and it is easy to find with free parking.
