Advice please!

I was hoping some of the residents can help me out! We are looking to move over to Gran Canaria to open up an indian restaurant. We are in the process of selling our restaurant here in mallorca and would like as much information on the different resorts there. Personal opinions are so much better than just reading it off a website! We would prefer to rent only at first, or a low traspaso, and then if it goes well we will buy over there. Obviously we would like somewhere that is busy year round with tourists and residents,a good passing trade and the premises no bigger than 200m2 as that is what we have at the moment and it is too busy for the two of us! We also have two indian chefs, don't think that i would even attempt to cook an indian meal! lol If anyone can advise me or let me know any recommend estate agents websites then i would be so grateful! Puerto Rico is mainly Britis and maspalomas is a mixture of brit and german.
In the winter generally the island is more scandi but there are still brit looking for winter sun.
Brit residents tend to be in Puerto Rico but again there are lots living over towards Playa del Ingles, San Fernando.
If you are good enough, residents will find you.
You really need to come over for a scouting mission as some commercial areas may be better for you than others.

By far the busiest places with the most tourists are Puerto Rico and playa del ingles. But there are indian restaurants there already so youll have competition so need to be very good.In Playa Mogan that is just getting going we dont have one at all ,But lots of people even residents come here just to see the place by car , by ferry, by bus, I wouldnt say it is cheap in playa mogan for traspasos. But many times i have been asked in the street "is there a good indian here" ? We have the new hotel cordial here and its self catering apartments are going to be open at xmas. Have a look at the websites on playa mogan ,The new hotel cordial, (To give you an idea) as to tourists here, and playa mogan is very much self catering with people wanting takeaways to take back to there apartments
and all the usual,Indian restaurant, chinese and so on. On the beach side there are a few trespasos going, You can also rent in the new shopping complex in the valley Right opposite the new hotel cordial and its new self catering apartments. The new shopping complex is owned by a consortium of 4 men One of whom is an indian gentleman, He came here 50 years ago
a very nice helpfull man.(You can rent directly from him) You can also get your catering supplies here as well. You can buy or rent in the new shopping complex.Which is a lot cheaper than the beach. (As for residents )they travel all the time to mogan to try the restaurants out here, and its a lovely place to visit for a day out or a night out for a meal. The ferry comes in and out all the time from puerto rico, and we are always jam packed with tourists on a friday for the market, coming from playa del ingles, mas palomas in fact everywhere . We do have tourists coming on coaches on the organised day trips from the hotels from all over the island as well.Take your time, Choose well,And i wish you success, I just thought id let you know about my area, and if you need any phone numbers, for my area just email me. Everyone (residents and tourists) would love an indian restaurant opening up here in Mogan, youd be the first one.We dont even have one on the port side where all the yachts are, But i do know of a trespasso going there as well.From a local owner who has just totaly refurbished it out.But dont do anything without a lawyer always.
