They do now and then, have someone stood there to check for anyone going in without a card. You can have two cards on one business. The main one and a named one. Anyway you wouldnt get through the till without a card as they ask for this at the till. I do know of someone who was told even though they have one for england that they couldnt use it here, I just lent them mine, While they were here

I use Makro but not that often - I generally find I get everything cheaper in Carrefour other than stationary.

You are right on that owen for food stuffs and other things, Carrefore is best. Its just tables chairs, office furniture, And the lovely christmas lights and things. All the unusual things like moving santas, and so on. And some tools now and again, And things like tablecloths, Blankets for winter. Workclothes.

Makro was alway's intended for business use but over the years more households use it, you can still find cheaper items at Makro if you buy in bulk.
