Should the forum be used for this purpose?

The thread started today by James501 is ???????...cannot reply to it.....member never posted before....no website shown, only an email address.
I did not think that the forum could be used for business purposes as shown in the message. I am concerned that some members may not get the bargain they were hoping for (if this is not a bono fida operation, maybe it is). If prices are too good to be true, they often are.

He was a spammer who has been banned - advertising anywhere on the site is not allowed without Owens prior permission and certainly not for things like that. For some reason the site seems to be getting a lot of stuff like this posted recently. It gets deleted as soon as its spotted but if you do see stuff like that please report it using the exclamation icon at the top of the post and please don't click on any links in the posts as they may well take you to the more murky side of the internet.

Thank you Chorlton for the info. If a website had been provided, I would have clicked on it, must be more careful in future. Yes, I will report any suspicious activity in the way you suggested
