Hi Owen, dont really know where else to post this so I hope it gets noticed here.
While over in PR this week, I bumped into several people that I have met before that i have convinced to join the forum. Each one of these told me that they have tried to register but have failed to log on to the forum after registration.
I cant remember if there is a contact facility during regestration for unregistered users, or maybe a thread for help for unregistered users, but it seems a shame that they are having probs that they cant solve.

OK - I'll leave this thread here then and anyone having problems can post where they are getting stuck here and we can help out.

A lot of the time people are getting an email with a link they need to follow but these new spam/junk filters are blocking it.

Other times, people are making typos in the email address.

It's very rare the forum has a glitch and does somkething wrong but I guess this thread is the best way to find out.

Hi Owen,

I'm also aware of someone I know having the same problems. He said that he was able to enter all of his details OK then the little note came up telling him to check his email inbox and follow the link to be able to post.

This he did and no email had arrived to do so. Thinking that he had entered his email address incorrectly he registered his details again and when entering his same email address again he was told " EMAIL ADDRESS ALREADY IN USE" so it must have been correct initially on the first try I'm thinking. He also has only now opened an email account so hasnt set his spam filters yet... Any ideas?

Wondered about that myself Shortie!

Maybe worth providing a contact E-mail address Owen - should anyone experience problems then you can address them personally. ??

People - don't forget the forum is part of the canaryforum website.

Go to www.canaryforum.com (http://www.canaryforum.com) then click on contact and there's about 5 ways of getting in touch with me, email is one of them.
