New To The Boards And Need Info Pls - Which Island

Hello, I am new to the boards but thinking on travelling to the islands this year from the UK. Since there are so many options out there i want to make sure i choose the right one for us. Could anyone tell me which island would be best suited for people who dont like the crazy crowds and love to just relax on the beach, rent a scooter and do there own thing. Which island would be better to explore? Any info would be great, cheers...

I think you could probably do that on any of the Canary Islands so long as you found a base outwith the main touristy areas.

There's loads of people on here that will be able to give you good advice but also have a read through the main site here as there's a lot of great information on it.

having been to all the islands and enjoyed everyone gran canaria is our favourite.but!!!!! what is our sweet may be your poision as a matter of speech. it is really your own personal choice as all the islands have what you are looking for lovely beaches beautiful areas for touring with a scooter and areas far from the madding crowd.
lanzarote and fuerteventura are only a short distance apart by ferry and that gives you an easy option to tour two islands in the one break with your scooters
