I recently upgraded vbulletin to include some new security features which you won't notice and to add a new shoutbox which I think you have noticed. I am also in the process of upgrading the arcade to get the tournement feature working properly along with several new features but it's taking a while as we have to uninstall then reinstall all the games; there's over 2000 of them!

I am happy to see that the forum is as always, extremely busy as is the rest of canaryforum but it has become too busy to live where it lives and I now have to pay 125 euros a month for the forum to be on the Internet. You may notice occasional advertisements at the bottom of some forum pages, sorry for those but they will pay the 125 euros for me and you may find something useful/interesting. Enjoy!

Owen

Thanks for the Shoutbox and the upgrades. The advertising links are OK, hope they cover the costs for you, maybe even make you a profit! You could use said profit to come along to the Forum Bash!!!!!!!!

Does anybody else have problems with the site since the shoutbox has been re-instated?

I'm using Microsoft Vista Ultimate, IE v7

And before you start blaming Vista, I've been using it for months (beta tester) and its def not that. Works fine with every other vBulletin site, and used to be fine on here until the shoutbox returned.

I.E. freezes on me every now and then. :(

already answerd this one on the shotbox to jojo and success...............
ensure that you check the remember me box when logging in as failure to do this is what can cause non activity in the shoutbox.

and has also happened with posting threads in the past also not sure about that one now though.

Could be your internet provider - who do you use?

Normally is provider re slowness, agreed.

But I have lost count now of the posts I have typed in, and had to abandon due to IE freezing on me.

Honest, I ain't no illiterate computer hick, and it doesn't happen on any other site. In fact, don't know if this will post!
