HI, IVE JUST HEARD ON THE NEWS WE ARE IN FOR A REALLY BAD WINTER,LOTS OF SNOW AND VERY BAD WEATHER ARGHHHHH SO I WANTED TO NO DO THE FLIGHTS GET CANCELLED !!!! IF IT SNOWS ????? SILLY QESTION I NO BUT IVE NEVER BEEN AWAY AT XMAS TIME ONLY SUMMER,SO DOES THIS MEAN MY HOLIDAY IS DOOMED ALREADY :sadguy: :sadguy:

A flight can be cancelled if the engines are iced up etc. But the airports will do their utmost to get you on your hols. It'll cost them too much to cancel you.

And you never know - your flight home might be cancelled, so you'll have to stay longer.

very few flights are ever cancelled out of scotland because of snow or severe frost as we are used to it and have the machinery to deal with it here...................sadly its a different story down london way where last winter a few inches of snow severely disrupted flights with many cancelled on a few occasions but this is due to the rarity of snow and milder conditions roads are the same a little flurry and the south of england is cut of.

Just been speaking on the phone to my friend in Majorca.She said Majorca is on red alert.Had torrential rain and thunder storms all day and now been warned of expected flooding .where she lives and also experienced a small Tornado the other day How the weather abroad is now changing :sadguy:
