New Style

I have just added a new skin / style to the forum. A "style" is the way the forum looks, the way it works and info should remain identical.

At the bottom right of each forum page is an option to change the style. The new style is suprisingly called "new style". Select it and watch the forum change. To revert, select "default style".

If you see a red X somewhere, let me know in reply to this message so I can fix it (means there should be a picture or image but it's not in the right place).

I like the new style it is bigger and bigger is better! LOL it isnt all squashed in the centre.:tinysmile_fatgrin_t

the new style gives a more professional visual appearance.much prefer it to default theme.also seems more user friendly (imho).

I will explain my vote for the old ....the font size is bigger , and thats the only thing. The new is very hard to read , without me glasses or after a few :boozy: . But it is far more professional looking.

Actually you can, if you go to view on the toolbar, i have just done it twice and its a lot bigger now :tinysmile_fatgrin_t

if you click "page" tab in the tool bar you should have various "zoom" levels, and various "text" size options eg. largest,large,medium,small and smallest.you can always download additional toolbar buttons if you dont already have them.downloads available here... Yes you can Zoom , but at the first option of 125% the page is wider then the screen ,so you have to slide left/right to view things , which is right pain. Enlarging the Font does nothing !:eyebrow: ( only the administrator can enlarge the font , on page production ) Oh and thank you Mary..:rose:

OK, try the NewSkin-BogFont style and see if that's better? The headings are still pretty much the same size so as not to knock off the shape of the forum but the posts and other parts are a bigger font now.

If that is better and after trying it out for a while, the new style still looks as good, I will keep just the new style with the big font.

hmmm confusion! :confused:

I've just looked at them and NewSkin2 appears to have the larger font and NewSkin-BigFont has the smaller font.

I do think the larger font makes the new skin much better for those of us that keep forgetting to wear our specs! :blush:

Yes its the same for me , new skin 2 is bigger, but like i said before i dont have a problem maker it bigger still by going to view on my toolbar :wink:

I leave my glasses by the pc anyway lol

Thanks everyone for checking that out for me.

The main style of the forum is njow by default the new design with the larger font.

In case you don't like the new look, bottom right of every page is a drop-down menu and you can select "default style" to go back to the old look.

Mine has gone back to the smaller print now ?
It was the newskin 2 that had larger print?

I renamed them so this should be the style with the larger font but I'll go check / fix it.

Default Style is the old skin.
NewSkin is the new one with the small font.
