Firstly, these apartments aren't in fact private but belong to a complex so why are they listed here? They do have many of the free extras so are equipped with coffee maker, toaster etc.. and they are also quite unique as although they belong to a complex (with reception, regular maid service, daily maintenance etc..) each is privately owned and given to the complex to rent out.

Maspalomas is known for desert-like sand dunes and mile after mile of golden beach. At the beginning of this beach is a natural, protected oasis and parallel to this, an avenue of small apartment blocks which make up the "Oasis Maspalomas" complex. All are close to the beach, some just a few meters and many with sea and dunes views and share the complex' three plunge-pools.

Each block of apartments is very different to another. One block has 12 apartments on three floors, another just 4 apartments on two floors and so on ..... Each, though simple, is different in style than another, some apartments are 1 bedroom, others 2 bedroom and a few 3 bedroom. All apartments have lounge with patio doors leading on to a terrace with terrace table and chairs. The lounge has a dining space or area and telephone. Some apartments have an american-style kitchenette, others a separate kitchen but all kitchens have minimum 2-ring hob, fridge/freezer, coffee-maker & toaster. Bedrooms are separate with plenty of wardrobe space. Bathrooms are also separate with shower and either half or full bath. Individual safes are available at reception which is open 24 hours.

Also within easy walking distance is a vast choice of beach-front restaurants, bars and shops, supermarket and chemist and a small bus terminus with regular service all over the island including major attractions in the south. A little further but still within a ten minute stroll along the flat is a large commercial area with a larger choice of shopping, bars and restaurants. Maspalomas golf course is just over a 5 minute taxi ride.
