Museum of Contemporary Art
The museum is located in the Castle of San José, built between 1776 and 1779 by King Carlos III.
César Manrique helped in the conservation of this castle whilst allowing it's interior to be transformed into the museum it is today. Some of his own work is on display, along with works from his private collection.Other works on view are from international artists such as Beicon, Botero, Dámaso, Fráncis, Leparc, Millares, Miró, Picasso, Tápies and Luis Féito.
